Raytheon Technologies Project Management Liaison II in Largo, Florida

This position is instrumental in supporting the planning, tracking, and direction of high volume production programs. The position requires an understanding of the production organization including manufacturing related policies and procedures. With the guidance of key team members, this position will be responsible for providing direction to a variety of cross-functional areas including production planning and control, total quality ownership, systems, manufacturing, equipment and facilities engineering, material administration, and process re-engineering to achieve common goals for the product line. The position is fast paced, demanding and has high potential for career growth in an expanding market with opportunity for considerable stakeholder visibility.

Responsibilities include:

• Interact with internal and external customers with respect to production and sustainment program planning, problem resolution, and process improvement

• Develop mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for interventions and problem solving with program managers, factory managers, and customers

• Ensures through contacts with outside departments that proper inventory balances are maintained, that quality is within acceptable standards, and that production goals are met

• Will identify and pursue cost reduction initiatives (CRIs)

• Participates as a team member for the program metrics team

• Understanding and use of the Earned Value Management System (EVMS)

• Supports Bid and Proposal activities

• Supports IPDS Gate 10 and 11 activities

• Support update and maintenance of staffing plans

• All other duties as assigned

Required Skills:

• Skilled in database and data analysis resources such as Excel VBA/Pivots, Tableau, Access

• Possesses motivation and interpersonal skills

• 2 years of prior relevant experience

• Excellent organizational, planning, and implementation skills

• Effective communicator, develop meaningful relationships and work with personnel at all organizational levels

• Thorough problem-solving skills and ability to use data and information to convey a concise message to team members, guidance, and other relevant parties

• Proficiency in managing projects and meeting deadlines

• Demonstrated initiative, perseverance, and creativity in problem solving

• Understanding and utilization of business system instruments

• A thorough working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)

• U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position will need a U.S. Security Clearance within 1 year of start date

• Ability to Obtain U.S. Secret Security Clearance

Desired Skills:

• Computer proficiency and demonstrated ability to learn new software applications

• Familiarity with SAP systems, including shop floor control systems within SAP

• Familiarity with scheduling and Manufacturing Resource Planning (MRP) systems

• Ability to find areas of waste and implement improvements

Required Education: Bachelor or Master’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics, Business Administration or related discipline
