Raytheon Technologies Mgr I Manufacturing in Louisville, Kentucky

This job role will be responsible for managing training, site compliance, factory cost performance management and strategic planning support.

Training Program Management

Manage and collaborate with the production managers to schedule training.

Monitor for any expired training and ensure training is brought up to date.

Coordinate with Training Administrators for execution.

Prepare and respond to audit inquiries related to training.

Manage all tooling and classroom resources for training.

Perform skills assessment during the on-boarding of all bargaining unit employees for successful placement in factory role.

Manage Factory Qualification training compliance (assembly specific/on-the-job training)

Lead training improvement projects to develop new course material in coordination with the RMD training department

Develop course objectives with local subject matter experts

Oversee course development and track progress to goals

Manage site compliance for factory processes FOE, FOD and ESD

FOD compliance responsibilities include:

FOD Incident Investigations

FOD defect reviews

FOD Risk Assessments

FOE compliance responsibilities include:

FOE Site Champion

FOE Training

FOE Topics/Communication

ESD compliance responsibilities include:

Site ESD Council Lead

ESD Process Surveillance

Site Hour per Unit (HPU) Management

Analyze HPU data to identify trends

Support factory HPU weekly reviews

Site Strategy Planning and reviews

Coordinate reviews, attendees and follow up actions

Write Basis of Estimates (BOE’s) in support of new programs

Perform capacity planning for new programs and surges for existing programs

Provide labor estimates

Support Capital Planning and management

Develop and administer appropriation requests (AR’s)

Manage project plans

Monitor associated estimates at completion (EAC’s)

U.S Citizenship status is required as this position needs an active U.S. Security Clearance as of day one of employment


Position Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree in

Engineering, Finance, Business or related degree and

6 years of related experience or Master’s Degree in

Engineering, Finance, Business or related degree and

4 years of related experience.

2 years of experience in training development/management

2 years of experience in data analytics

2 years of experience in strategic planning

U.S. Citizenship is required

Working Environments:

This position involves direct support of manufacturing activities and requires spending time in and around factory areas.

This position requires either a U.S. Person or a Non-U.S. Person who is eligible to obtain any required Export Authorization.
