Job Summary:

The Naval and Land Based Radar Systems (NLBRS) Department within the Systems Integration and Test (SI&T) Directorate is searching for an Integration Director for the Enterprise Air Surveillance Radar (EASR) Program. The Integration Director is responsible for providing technical leadership for a multi-disciplined team at the radar site location and interfacing with the integration and test leads and program management team in Marlborough, MA. The Integration Director will report to the Site Test Lead, and will interface with leaders and technical subject matter experts within the customer community on a daily basis.

This Integration Director will work onsite at the Wallops Island Test Site in Virginia for one year. While supporting the radar site, the role will require the employee to support extended hours and possibly off-shift operations.

Responsibilities to Anticipate:

  • Lead a multi-disciplined team of engineers to achieve integration and test objectives

  • Integration and Test planning, development, and execution to support system-level requirements selloff for the program

  • Interfacing with the multiple functional leads in Marlborough, MA

  • Daily interfacing with the customer

  • Identification, establishment, and implementation of best practices and lessons learned from other programs

  • Provide support to the Site Test Lead and functional management to identify and fill staffing needs

    Qualification You Must Have:

  • Bachelor’s in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 10 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree (Masters) and minimum 7 years prior relevant experience. Relevant experience includes Systems Engineering and/or System Integration, Verification and Validation experience for Department of Defense systems

  • Ability to travel for 1 year to Wallops Island, Virginia upon starting the role

  • Extensive radar integration experience

  • Experience in troubleshooting radar systems, identifying issues, and implementing solutions

  • Experience leading a technical team

  • Experience with technical writing and oral presentations

  • Proven ability to interface with customers and lead technical solutions to complex user requirements

  • The ability to obtain and maintain a US security clearance prior to the start date. U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance

    Qualifications We Value:

  • Prior experience with the SPY-6 radar system

  • Experience with the Navy customer

  • Background in Ship Self Defense System (SSDS) Combat System concept of operations

  • Familiarity with IPDS, internal reviews, and gate reviews

  • Subject Matter Expert in Systems Integration, Verification, and/or Validation
