Join our team in the expanding Protected Communications Systems (PCS) product line as the Navy Multiband Terminal (NMT) lead Program Cost Scheduling and Control Analyst.
PCS is part of the growing Communications & Airspace Management Systems mission area, the leading provider of military communications solutions for defense transformation, within the Raytheon Intelligence & Space business. NMT is executing its 10th production year and is a high visibility program within CAMS. NMT’s Follow on Production years with expanded capabilities account for significant content in the 5 year operating plan and provides a unique opportunity to start-up and baseline multiple efforts within the program with its annual Production Year buys.
In this role, the effective candidate will implement a variety of program and financial control activities, including supporting quarterly Estimates-at-Complete (EACs), Monthly Business Reviews (MBRs), and contract-specific external deliverables (Annual CSDR & Monthly Cost Report for TDL’s). In addition, primary responsibilities will include utilizing the full suite of program controls tools (Analysis for Office, SAP/APEX, PMX Tool Suite) to provide targeted EVMS analysis that guides efficiencies and meets EVMS compliance standards. The candidate will be a technical analysis focal point for Control Account Managers (CAMs) and the Program Office to support the development of various program funding profiles, sales outlooks, billing projections, and Variance Analysis Reports (VARs) as well as the maintenance of extensive program logs and baseline control processes.
This position is an integral part of a fast paced, high performing finance team where tactical thinking, multitasking and individual initiative are key requirements. The effective candidate will be able to collaborate and partner with functional team members to provide program reporting/products to all levels of internal/ external stakeholder, and have direction oversight over one junior analyst.
Minimum of 6 years of relevant Finance/Accounting experience.
Excellent computer skills, which include a high level of proficiency with Microsoft Excel functions (Pivot Tables, Lookups, etc.)
Proficient in APEX EV and working knowledge of the SAP functions
Professional experience of applied DoD EVMS principles, including Raytheon EVMS Certification
Good written and verbal skills including demonstrated ability to present complex information to all levels of organization and external parties such as audit agencies (DCAA/DCMA)
Ability to interact with and influence individuals at every level of the Financial and Program Office organizations
- Deep critical thinking and problem solving skills, including a demonstrated ability to prioritize concurrent
requirements and accommodate numerous stakeholders
Shows initiative by seeking ways to expand on existing practices and improve processes and data analysis
Desire to learn and contribute in an enthusiastic and highly collaborative team-based environment
Ability to work under minimal direction and actively participate in determining objectives of assignments
Financial controls experience relative to multiple contract types
Understanding of Raytheon financial and accounting policies and procedures
Minimum of 6 years of relevant Finance work experience
Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related Business Major
