The Senior Human Resource Advisor will work with Program Managers and Leadership team to identify, develop and implement solutions across a range of HR activities including recruitment, workforce planning and performance management.
In this role you will provide a consultancy and advisory service to managers and staff on people issues and ensure adherence to policy, procedures and statutory obligations. The role is based in Adelaide, SA however travel inter/intra state may be required.
Provide sound, accurate advice and support to managers regarding disputes and grievances, performance management and termination of employment, and ensure organisational compliance with relevant legislation, industrial instruments and policy
Support managers in the recruitment process; assist with job design, re-orgs and classification of roles as required and work with our Talent Acquisition team to manage the recruitment process. Be hands on in recruitment where required.
Manage the company's performance management process for the client group, this includes reporting, supporting staff and managers, and systems training
Project manage the implementation of HR initiatives and programs across your client group to ensure timely, consistent and successful implementation
Establish and maintain productive working relationships with Raytheon Australia business leaders
Skills, Experience and Qualifications
Demonstrated knowledge of contemporary HR practices/legislation and their application in the workplace
Sound knowledge of employee relations theory, frameworks, principles, policies and practices and the ability to interpret and apply them
Strong leadership and influencing qualities, providing key stakeholders with sound HR advice
Ability to balance strategic and tactical priorities
Demonstrated ability to build relationships
Display a consultative approach to engagement and a proven ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
Successful candidates must be able to obtain and maintain an Australian Defence security clearance
