The Raytheon Intelligence and Space (RIS) division of Raytheon is seeking an Electrical Engineer with experience in Circuit Card Assembly (CCA) test development, component-level fault isolation and working with suppliers to resolve systemic issues. The person must be self-motivated and will work with a cross functional team including engineering, factory management, program management, and operations assembly and test. This position will support the Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance Systems (ISRS) Mission Area.
U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position will require the ability to access US only data systems.
Job related activities include:
Implementation of improved CCA test methodologies/processes to improve test yields at the higher level
Troubleshoot CCAs down to component level
Work with suppliers to improve processes and drive corrective action on issues
Investigation of failure trends for root cause and implementation of corrective actions
Participation in teams tasked with resolving technical issues, improving test yields, and reducing test cycle time
Support of IV&V efforts as needed for design improvements
Minimum of 2 years of experience in electrical engineering or related engineering field
Experience with CCA engineering support in a production environment
Demonstrated oral and written communication skills
Ability to work independently and manage priorities on multiple tasks
Excellent technical aptitude as shown by strong grades or hands on experience
Experience reading drawings and electrical schematics
Experience working in a lab environment with standard EE lab equipment (i.e,. Vector Network Analyzers, Power Meters, oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, DMMs, signal sources)
Experience testing and troubleshooting electrical circuits and documenting test results
Advanced degree in a related field
Experience writing structured procedure/requirements documents
Root cause and corrective action experience
Experience in data analysis for identifying trends and improvement opportunities
Demonstrated leadership experience
Active Secret Clearance
Bachelor’s Degree (BS) in Electrical Engineering or Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics (STEM) related discipline.
