Raytheon Technologies Manager I Regulatory Compliance in McKinney, Texas
Individual will be part of the RIS Government Accounting team in ensuring proper cost treatment and compliance with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) Part 31, Cost Accounting Standards (CAS), and RIS Policies and Procedures.
Work requirements include liaison and audit support activities with Defense Contract Audit Agency (DCAA), Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA) and other government representatives to ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations and contractual requirements.
This role provides ongoing opportunities to interface with the Finance Leadership Team, including the Controller and CFO.
Additionally, RIS Government Accounting partners with the other Government Accounting teams across Raytheon to standardize controls and processes, identify best practices, and create efficiencies in order to ultimately support our internal and external customers.
6 Years of Related Finance Work Experience
Strong writing, communication and analytical abilities.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to function well in a team based environment.
Computer software skills including MS Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).
Possesses knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) cost principles, Cost Accounting Standards (CAS), Agency FAR Supplements, and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
General understanding of the areas subject to audit by DCAA at a major contractor location.
Understanding of Raytheon Financial Accounting policies and practices.
Previous Accounting/Finance experience in multiple disciplines (e.g., program finance, functional-area finance, rates & budgets, material accounting, labor accounting, direct accounting, and overhead accounting).
Working knowledge of SAP Apex preferred.
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Accounting or related degree
