RIS is seeking a Configuration Analyst supporting programs in the Dallas TX area. This role provides Configuration Management (CM) support for assigned Program including but not limited to creating and maintaining product structures (parts lists), maintaining As-Built Records, and supporting engineering Release and Change activities. Candidate will perform aspects of Configuration Management activities including the establishment and coordination of Configuration/Change Control Boards (CCBs); managing engineering drawings, specification and software, including engineering change documentation, requests for variances and other design documentation; maintaining configuration control of Technical Data Package (TDP); maintaining data within the Common Product Data Management (PDM); maintaining configuration status accounting documentation, and supporting customer reviews and audits. Tasks also include working closely with the Program Office, Chief Engineering, Integrated Product Teams (IPTs), Software Engineering, Operations, Quality and other CDMs. This candidate must have working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel).

Responsibilities Include:

•Coordinate and capture various types of CM controlled Work Products

•Coordinate and capture Baselines, ECPs, Variances and Common Usage (Shared Design)

•Provide configuration control of program documentation as required

•Facilitate under guidance: Support CCB Activities (Agenda, Minutes, Action tracking)

•Support contract closure efforts; program review activities, and archival of records

•Observe Program security requirements and Raytheon data protection requirements, especially for marking deliverable data

•Support peer reviews of selected Program plans and key documents

Required Skills:

•Strong Microsoft Office skills (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)

•Ability to work in a team-based environment consisting of organizational and outside customer contacts to meet project goals.

•Possess excellent communication skills (verbal and written)

•Sense of urgency; ability to meet challenging deadlines

•Attention to detail and ability to multi-task

•Technical editing, proofreading, and formatting of engineering documentation

•Experience meeting short-turn and high-pressure deadlines

•Experience communicating and interpersonal skills in working with internal and external customers

•Experience operating self-guided with some supervision

•U.S. Citizenship status is required for this position to access US only data systems

•Ability to obtain DoD Secret Security clearance

•5 years of related work experience

Desired Skills:

•Ability to understand engineering concepts, read and interpret engineering drawings, understands product structure

•College courses related in Systems, Software, Mechanical, and/or Electrical Engineering

•Understanding of product lifecycle processes

•Understanding of Configuration Management (CM) processes and CM requirements on a project

•Working knowledge of industry Configuration/Data Management standards

•PTC Windchill Experience

•Knowledge of the drawing release process

•Experience handling proprietary/classified data

•Able to generate metric reports and provide some analysis to programs

Education Requirement:

Bachelors Degree required. Preferred degree in STEM

In compliance with Colorado’s Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the salary range for this role is $70,000 to $150,000; however, Raytheon Technologies considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, education/training, and key skills
