Raytheon Technologies Production Specialist in McKinney, Texas

This position supports multiple Programs production business needs and other processes in a team-based manufacturing environment supporting the Common Products Production programs. The position requires strong interpersonal skills and performs a wide variety of manufacturing concepts.

Production specialist must be able to perform a variety of tasks in support of a manufacturing /production environment.

Assemble, modify, and repair the various SAS mechanical and electronic assemblies using assembly instructions, work instruction and/or prints. This is a 2nd shift position.

Required Skills

6+ years of applicable experience

3+ years of work experience working in cleanroom.

Assemble, modify, and rework electronic and mechanical assemblies, sub-assemblies and unit assemblies. Performs soldering, wire/cable preparation, installation, routing, crimping, torqueing.

All work is completed per written work instructions to prescribed standards.

Uses and operates support equipment and tools to complete necessary requirements.

Uses support systems and software to meet work goals and business requirements.

Excellent communication (written and verbal) and solid interpersonal skills

Good organizational skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment

Uses and operates support equipment and tools to complete necessary requirements.

Meets necessary certification and training required by assigned SAS work center policy

Performs incidental related duties as assigned or required.

U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position will require the ability to access US only data systems.

Desired Skills:

J-STD-001 E/ES Certified

Visiprise Management (VM) tool knowledge

Print-reading skills

Effective self-starter and professional interpersonal/customer service skills, with a “can-do” attitude

Customer focused

Good understanding of lean manufacturing concepts

Understanding of working in an ESD

and FOD free environment

Six Sigma or equivalent training

Experience working under a microscope

Working and collaborating in a team environment

Quality conscious

Required Education (including Major):

High School Diploma or equivalent
