The Communications & Airspace Management Systems (CAMS) Product Line of Raytheon Intelligence & Space (RI&S) has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Finance Manager of the Tactical Mission Processors (TMP) portfolio. This position will report to the CAMS CFO.

The role will provide people leadership, development, and direction for a growing team of 13 finance professionals. This role will lead internal & external earned value management activities, customer review, IPDS gate activities, quarterly estimates at complete (EAC), and all other program financial control activities. Additional responsibilities include the monthly forecasting process for the portfolio and ensuring monthly forecast accuracy and identification of risks and opportunities. Other planning responsibilities include the annual operating plan, five year strategic plan, and the associated investments to support and drive those plans. The effective candidate will be able to effectively communicate results through predictable forecasts, tight R&O management, understood EAC packages, thorough Program Reviews, and timely flow of information to organization. A significant portion of this role will support capture activities, monitor capital projects and cultivate internal investment activities. The role will need to be able to communicate with all levels of organization, operate in a dynamic team environment, and effectively team across functions to accomplish goals.

Additional responsibilities include:

  • Leverage experience in program control finance, accounting and FP&A to meet all internal and external reporting requirements such as preparing EACs, monthly forecasts, Earned Value, and provide financial direction to the team

  • Identify problems early and develop corrective action plans, manage risks, opportunities and implementation plans

  • Guide the organizational talent through development and succession planning, partner with peers to identify and develop future leaders, drive rotations across finance to build bench strength in the organization

  • Balance sheet analysis and implementing cash optimization strategies

  • Lead investment analysis across portfolio to optimize deployment of resources


  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, economics or other related field; OR equivalent years of experience. MBA preferred

  • Minimum 10 years of professional experience; preferably related to financial analysis in a highly matrixed organization

  • Experience in a defense or aerospace industry

  • Direct Supervisory experience guiding Teams

  • P&L ownership or Financial Planning Experience

  • U.S. Citizenship status

    Desired Skills:

  • Experience with Production and/or Operations

  • A demonstrated leader through IPDS Gate Requirements

  • Experience with interpreting and providing guidance on FAR/DFAR

  • Experience with competitive proposals

  • Ability apply, interpret, and provide financial guidance on Raytheon Policies and Procedures

  • Excellent professional communication skills (Verbal and Written)

  • Ability to multi-task and be able to support a dynamic team environment

  • Knowledge of the DoD Acquisition Process

  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel

  • Proficient with APEX/SAP/PRISM

  • EVMS Certified
