Raytheon Intelligence and Space is looking for a senior software engineer for the Intelligence, Surveillance & Reconnaissance Systems (ISRS) product line on the F35 EODAS program. Engineers on F35 EODAS program are developing embedded real-time SW and performing formal testing activities in an Agile development environment with several teams totally 30 people. The software developer will work with program engineers of multiple disciplines to help achieve program goals in a fast paced environment. Tasking will include enhancements of software and algorithms; building and deploying code on multiple platforms and performing formal tests for specific SW changes. It may also include support on ground and flight tests. A candidate does not require a security clearance but will be submitted for clearance as part of the role. Candidates will be expected to receive and maintain a clearance.

Required Skill Sets:

  • 8 years Embedded C/C++ experience [no java on the program]

  • 8 years experience on Linux OS

  • Applicants must have the ability to manage their own

workload and have meaningful resolution analysis skills.

  • Must be able to manage multiple unrelated tasks in an

organized manner.

  • Ability to work occasional overtime to support critical

program events.

  • Must be able to communicate effectively in both written

and oral form, and must be able to team well with others.

This includes demonstrated effective communication with

internal and external customers.

  • Prior experience using Jira, Bitbucket and Confluence

  • US Citizenship

    Desired Skill Sets:

  • Experience using Jenkins

  • Experience with JTAG

  • Remote Direct Memory Access (RDMA) experience

  • Remote Direct Memory Access (RDMA) Over Converged Ethernet version 2 (RoCE) experience

  • Experience utilizing Digital Terrain Elevation Data (DTED) in algorithm implementation

  • Experience integrating Sensors with onboard processing capabilities

  • Experience debugging lab Ethernet settings and routing

  • Buildroot and/or FreeRTOS experience

  • Programming FPGA

  • VHDL Code & Simulation

  • Xilinx FPGA Timing Closure

  • Xilinx Vivado experience

  • Xilinx Zynq UltraScale+ experience

    Education Level Required:

  • Bachelor of Science (B.S.) Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Math, or related field
