This 2nd shift technical position will be part of the Repair and Maintenance Team for the McKinney site, supporting manufacturing factories as a member of the Operational Excellence team. The selected team member will be responsible for executing Repair and Maintenance, including the calibration of assembly equipment and supporting operations, including ensuring the proper tracking of instrument inventory and fulfillment of compliance/certification processes. The position also provides support for equipment moves and setups. It requires knowledge of electro-mechanical systems of automated equipment, ability to read and understand equipment manuals and schematics, and ability to troubleshoot equipment issues.
The selected candidate will have familiarity with a Tool Room environment. The candidate must be able to perform normal working tasks following prescribed EHS safety guidelines. This person must have the ability to work autonomously with little supervisory guidance, in addition to working successfully with others to provide seamless support across disciplines. The position requires working directly with factory production personnel and engineering teams within the organization. The candidate must be able to work overtime and weekends as needed to support factory activities.
6 years of operations, factory support or other relevant experience
Experience in mechanical and/or electrical troubleshooting and repair
Demonstrated results working in a large, highly matrixed reporting environment
Demonstrated results influencing others as an individual contributor
Demonstrated problem solving abilities
Excellent communication skills needed, oral and written
Familiar with ESD Control Program, Ability to pass EHS certifications for Electrostatic Discharge, Electrical Safety, Ionizing Radiation Exposure, and additional safety training as required
Proficient in Microsoft Operating System and applications - MS Word, Excel, and Internet Explorer
Experience with pneumatic and hydraulic equipment operation
The ability to obtain and maintain a US security clearance. U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
Experience maintaining and repairing circuit card assembly equipment; automated coating, fluid dispensing, soldering, forming equipment, and cleaning processes
Knowledge of facilities equipment requirements for installation (power needed, exhaust, air)
Experience with Asset Management
Required Education (including Major):
High School Diploma or GED
Associates Degree in Technical field
