Raytheon Technologies Staff Tech, Mfg/Ops in McKinney, Texas
Performs a wide variety of tasks in support of processes, engineering, quality control, calibration, laboratories, production/test environment, field operations, line maintenance and/or chemical handling. Tests, troubleshoots, repairs, maintains and installs a wide variety of electronic, electromechanical, mechanical, computer, laboratory and scientific systems and/or equipment. May assist in the development of procedures. Selects, sets up and operates engineering and scientific equipment. Observes, analyzes and reports test data; and when appropriate, makes necessary repairs to equipment. Utilizes various engineering and scientific drawings, manuals, and other related documentation in the performance of their tasks. May include configuration/data management. Checks for work correctness. May assist in instructing work, assigning and outlining tasks.
An active and in-scope Secret US security clearance with the ability to obtain a special access program (SAP) clearance. Candidate will be required to access U.S. only data systems.
6 years of applicable work experience.
Experience in the evaluation, testing, troubleshooting, adjustment, or repair of avionics equipment such as radar, antenna, and navigation systems.
Experience in performing product tests by utilizing procedures, manuals, schematics, engineering drawings, verbal instructions, and other related documentation under limited supervision.
Ability to read and interpret drawings to perform measurements and troubleshoot electronic equipment
Excellent problem solving skills with the ability to proactively identify alternate solutions to overcome technical challenges.
Experience in fault-isolate problems and assisting in the resolution of issues between the test environment (test station, interface adapter, test cables, etc.) and the units under test.
Experience in observing, analyzing, and reporting test data.
Ability to select and set up appropriate test equipment based on test specifications.
Experience in the interpretation of test data (plots, graphs, tabulated parameters, etc.) to choose pass/fail condition and resolve when further analysis is needed.
Effectively communicate technical issues with peers, Engineering, and stakeholders.
Must be in good physical condition due to lifting, walking, and climbing of ladders / stairs as some test ranges.
Ability to work in a dynamic depot / manufacturing / production test and repair environment.
Candidate must be willing to work across shifts and overtime upon business need.
Related experience in a manufacturing, assembly, aviation, or naval engineering environment with hands on technical experience in installation, inspection, testing and maintenance of navigation and/or radar system assemblies.
Read and interpret engineering drawings
Knowledge of 6 Sigma / Kaizen

Experience using a wide variety of electronic RF/analog, high voltage, digital and other electronic test equipment such as oscilloscopes, network analyzers, signal generators, and spectrum analyzers.
Required Education (including Major):
High school Diploma or equivalent with 6 years of applicable experience
Technical Training or Military Service Schools preferred
