Are you ready to go beyond?
Plan and perform electrical work necessary to install, diagnose and repair electrical systems with solid state components and interrelated hardware, electromechanical devices and electronic controllers for facilities and manufacturing processes in assigned area.
Under direction of supervisor, follow instructions and drawings to plan and layout material requirements, determine sequence of project operations required support services and obtain tools and equipment to meet schedule requirements.
Follow up to assure equipment and supplies are available when required.
Communicate construction changes which impact operating requirements, maintenance, testing procedures and work practices.
Work on special assignments with supervisors, engineers, vendor or other trade groups and customers to review and prepare for new service installation recommend service requirements and equipment selection and check out system operations 0 specification.
Perform system installation, maintenance and repair work and carry out preventative maintenance and service as required.
Perform similar duties throughout the facility within the skill level of this job description.
Assist other trades working on joint projects where common skill crossover provides for shared responsibilities and more effective use of available skills.
Develop system start up, operation, monitoring and servicing procedures and techniques and assist operators.
Refer unusual difficulties to leader/supervisor.
May be required to train for, obtain and maintain licenses, operator permits and certifications within assigned trade.
CT E1 unlimited electrical contractor's license is required for this position.
US Citizenship required due to government contract
HS diploma or GED
