We in the Military Aftermarket organization play a critical role in supporting the airpower needs of the United States Military and its allies by sustaining fleet readiness. Military Engines Aftermarket Operations – Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (ME-MRO) is responsible for overhauling and repairing P&W Military Engines such as the F119, F135, F100 and F117 in support of worldwide fleets. The Military Engines Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) is a 200 million dollar business with operations in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; Columbus, Georgia; and United States Air Force bases across the world.

Financial Analyst will support the F117 & F135 programs. Responsibilities include prepare and book sales order level detail monthly sales and margin variance analysis. Collaborate with program office to prepare one and 10 year forecasts. Analyze and prepare summaries for management review. Liaise with program to ensure appropriate billing on field locations. Provides analysis on budgets, forecasts, inventory and sales. Assist with MRO accounting process documentation and process improvement initiatives. Prepare monthly billing files and Field Service programs. Assist with cross-training among staff. Review of P&L for accuracy and completeness. Assist with research of extraordinary items. Maintain excellence in management controls and accounting, including compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley requirements. Involvement in special assignments and ad hoc analysis.

  • Education / Certifications

  • Bachelor Degree in Accounting or Finance

  • 5 + years financial or accounting experience in a manufacturing/operational environment

  • Government experience strongly preferred.

  • Due to data exposure, candidate must be US citizen.

    Experience / Qualifications

  • Remote working arrangements available.

  • Seasoned professional contributor with ability to work autonomously with limited oversight.

  • Advanced knowledge of US GAAP, reporting requirements, financial analysis techniques, and budgeting/forecasting processes.

  • Ability to develop and apply financial models.

  • Strong PC skills including advanced knowledge of ERP systems (SAP preferred) and Excel.

  • Strong financial/cost analysis and budgeting/forecasting skills.

  • Self-direction and organization skills critical to achieve month-end reporting deadlines.

  • Candidate will have strong communication skills, both written and verbal, and must be able to work with all levels of employees and management.

  • Candidate must have a positive attitude, be detail-oriented and have a strong ability to multi-task and teamwork.

  • The ideal candidate will have experience driving positive changes within an organization.

  • Potential of 5-10% travel.
