The Military Engines Program Quality team is looking for a quality engineer who is energetic and motivated to conduct process and product audits, facilitate with root cause analysis, initiate continual improvement initiatives, ensure compliance of the production and modernization of military programs.
• Demonstrate a high level of customer focus, business judgment and teamwork• Communicate with various levels of management to identify Military Engines quality risks and mitigation plans• Collect and analyze process data to minimize workflow disruptions and eliminate nonconformances/escapes• Lead quality system, process, and product audits• Assist in the development of the annual audit schedule and support 3rd party audits as required• Oversee complex and modular maintenance activities to ensure compliance to regulatory requirements• Facilitate investigations to determine root cause and corrective actions while preventing future recurrence• Achieving Competitive Excellence; Lead process improvement initiatives to increase organizational efficiency and effectiveness• Generate and modify applicable quality controlled documentation to ensure processes and requirements are clearly defined• Manage the inspection and testing processes across production and modernization programs• Customer satisfaction; Identify and assist all stakeholders with product deficiencies and resolution
• 4 - 6+ years’ experience with demonstrated ability to work with a diverse group of skilled workers including international workforce. • AS9100 experience preferred• Bachelor’s Degree in a technical discipline or business field required.• Strong written and verbal communication skills.• Ability to travel as required
• Ability to interface with internal and external customers• ACE-DIVE – minimum ACE associate is a plus (or Engineering ACE B)• Adaptability• Communication Skills• Confidence to stand by your principals as well as the companies• Engineering/Technical Skills• A&P License• Jet Engine Manufacturing/Assembly/Overhaul experience• Regulatory for requirements and System Procedures Skills• MS Office proficiency: Excel and PowerPoint required• The ability to read and comprehend work instructions, quality manuals, and other detailed instructions
