The Customer & Account Management organization plays a critical role at Collins Aerospace both internally and externally. We provide executive-level support to major original equipment manufacturers and defense customers, and support our Strategic Business Units (SBUs) by augmenting key relationships and maintaining an excellent customer experience. Internally, we develop and support our SBUs by strategically planning and capturing future growth opportunities while ensuring customer satisfaction. Specific responsibilities of this role include:

  • Desire to learn aerospace operations, lean and process improvement.

  • Ability to support current engineering projects involving automation development, business reporting and database optimization.

  • Hardware repair development, and workscope optimization.

Basic Qualifications:• Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and student must be pursuing a Bachelor's or advanced degree in an applicable discipline.• Must be a U.S. Person/Permanent Resident “Green Card” holderPreferred Qualifications:

  • Must be pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Aerospace Engineering from an accredited institution.

  • Must have GPA of 3.0 or higher

  • Must have completed 30 hours of college coursework

  • ​ Able to positively influence others.

  • Takes initiative to make things happen.

  • Able to formulate and carry out an action plan.

  • Experience in aerospace operations

  • Experience in additive manufacturing

  • Exposure to aircraft repair

  • Understands how fortune 50 business works.

  • Knowledgeable about the industry, trends and practices.

  • Aware of how tactics work in the marketplace.

  • Relates well to all kinds of people, up, down, inside and outside the organization.

  • Builds constructive and effective relationships.

  • Able to build rapport with others.

  • Able to effectively manage the unexpected.

  • Can express ideas effectively in a variety of formal presentation settings.

  • Can command attention and manage group processes during a presentation.

  • Experience of previously working in Aerospace Industry is preferred.

  • Experience with database development, business and technical reporting, CAD, or robotics is preferred.
