Pratt and Whitney Eagle Supply is the F100, F119 and F135 component repair management organization for Pratt and Whitney Military Engine Sustainment Operations. Eagle Supply manages the maintenance, repair and overhaul value stream to meet Pratt and Whitney Engine Program, Fleet Management and US Government engine Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul requirements. Eagle Supply is seeking an Item Repair Manager at our North Berwick, Maine location.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with Product Team Engineers, Item Repair Managers, Quality Managers, Procurement Team and others to drive repair delivery performance according to established engine program metrics.

  • Engage directly with production operations shop floor management, workforce management, and flow disruption management to identify and implement improvements to component repair processing.

  • Track and report daily product delivery TAKT, Flow, Yield results.

  • Develop and implement product flow data collection systems and apply directly to shop floor operations.

  • Utilize Enterprise Resource Planning systems to extract required product flow data and generate useful business reports.

  • Interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques and provide ongoing reports. Establish and maintain positive working relationships with Supplier operations personnel and front line shop floor leadership.

  • Identify, analyze, and interpret shop floor trends or patterns in part repair process flow.

  • Communicate repair part process flow issues to internal, external stakeholders in proactive and timely manner.

  • Quickly formulate positions for improvement and deliver relevant, concise communication.

  • Ability to quickly assess value stream problems, mine relevant information, evaluate information and provide data, formulate potential solutions.

  • Adapt and evolve with rapidly changing business conditions in a growth oriented business environment

  • Proficient with ERP systems; SAP, US Govt. Property, Microsoft Office, Access Database Conduct business according to UTC Code of Ethics, EH&S, Export procedures, P&W Policies & Procedures

  • Flexibility to occasionally support extended hours -Travel dependent on business need (10%)

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required.

  • A minimum of 5+ years of industrial operations experience, preferably in Aerospace related discipline

  • US Citizenship is required due to Government Contracts.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Ability to collaborate effectively and work as part of a team

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Proven working experience in shop floor operations environment

  • Strong problem solving skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze data and implement effective operational improvements.

  • Strong communication skills.
