Seeking Design Engineering Interns!
We are currently seeking six design engineering interns to support the North Berwick Engine Center (NBEC).
In this position you will provide design engineering support on a variety of engineering tasks. Responsibilities may include general task management, creating technical reports, design support of tasks from preliminary design through detailed design phases and coordinating with others in advancing technology and process improvements. Your efforts will align with the design, development, validation, production implementation or fleet management of engines flying throughout the world.
This internship will be in-person and located at our North Berwick, ME facility.
Do you meet these Basic Qualifications?
Must be enrolled in an accredited undergraduate or graduate degree program at the time of the assignment. Preferred majors include Mechanical Design, Aerospace or a related field
Have a GPA of 3.0 or higher
Must be a U.S. Citizen due to government contract requirements
How about any of these Preferred Qualifications?
Excellent verbal and written communication skills and a consistent record of collaboration, innovation, and initiative
A passion for learning about and pursuing a career in aviation and aerospace
Creative problem-solving skills and adaptability in responding to new business challenges
