SUMMARY:

This position will be reporting to Project Management Office Manager, to support the setup, standardization, and implementation of Oakville’s first Project Management Office (PMO). You will be required to support benchmark activities across Collins PMO office process to implement best in class.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Define and implement PMO processes and tools to support the Program and the site transformation

  • Work with Project Managers from the different departments to gather and consolidate ensure standard deliverables are understood, tracked, and adhered to.

  • Implement PMO tools and dashboards to automate as necessary and report on the various program specific status reports.

  • Work with the various project managers to standardize and summarize; resource plan, key project timelines, risk and opportunities, return on investment (in budget or addition to budget), ensuring project managers are following the gate process

  • Build weekly and monthly reporting packages to explain overall progress to all plan execution and summarize risks.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline and 5 years of relevant, digital experience, or an Advanced degree in a relevant discipline and minimum three years of relevant, digital experience. In the absence of degree, 9 years of relevant digital experience.

  • Experience in project financial planning and management, ensuring a complete and accurate view is available on request

  • Demonstrated expertise in managing Project deliverable reviews and approval processes, within stated contractual timeline, recording of Minutes of reviews and related approvals for deliverables.

  • Demonstrated experience in managing issues, scope and quality while bring projects to successful completion within the cost and time requirements.

  • Cultural awareness and experience working across different cultures and nationalities.

  • PMP certification strongly desired.

  • Successful candidate must meet all requirements under ITAR and CCGP
