Position Overview We are looking for a mechanical engineering student co-op interested in the process of analysis, research, design and develop of materials and their related fabrication and application processes. This position will have an emphasis on optimizing materials for use in engineering design, and/or application in, structures, systems and subsystems.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Performs material analyses of failure components, systems and subsystems, life predictions, and definition and requirement specifications

  • Applies principles of chemistry, physics, and material behavior to develop metallic, non-metallic and composite material and processing specifications, fabrication and assembly processes.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and student must be pursuing a Bachelor's or advanced degree in an applicable discipline.

  • Must be a U.S. Person
