Manages the execution of Quality Assurance objectives. May lead a team of entry to intermediate level Quality Assurance professionals. Sets day-to-day objectives for the achievement of immediate Quality Assurance goals and supervises completion.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Supervises execution of plans, guidelines, policies and processes, to ensure the achievement of quality targets.

  • Drives elements of organization projects and processes to ensure overall quality is continuously improving.

  • Provides oversight for quality improvement processes to ensure on-going reductions in Cost of Poor Quality (COPQ) and escapes.

  • Supervises the collection and analysis of quality information from multiple sources for use in the development of long-term quality strategy and programs.

  • Reviews production processes and analyses, ensuring quality standards are met and making recommendations for quality improvement.

  • Develops and implements program quality plans and procedures.

  • Assist in creating manufacturing/inspection forms for new and sustaining product.

  • Coordinate and plan for FAI staffing and compliance.

  • RMA inspection support.

  • Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree and 3 years of relevant experience OR

  • In absence of a degree, 7 years of relevant experience is required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • FAI experience preferred.

  • Prior Supervisory experience preferred.

  • Aerospace industry experience preferred.
