HPR01: Collins Puerto Rico - Aguadill Road 110 North Km28.8 San Antonio Industrial Park, Aguadilla, PR, 00603 USA
This position is an established Electrical Engineer. The role will be based out of Aguadilla, Puerto Rico but will begin working remotely due to the pandemic. Incumbent must be on the island at time of start. Primary Responsibilities:
Researches, develops, designs, and tests electrical components, equipment, systems, and networks.
Designs electrical equipment, facilities, components, products, and systems for commercial, industrial, and domestic purposes.
Produces products according to specifications, using the most cost effective and efficient means.
Analyzes and evaluates new or improved electronic components.
Includes power generation, transmission and distribution, rotating machinery, illumination, wire communication systems and servomechanisms.
Includes circuit theory, computer design and development, instrumentation, radio communications, semiconductor devices, solid state devices, and television systems.
Bachelor’s degree and 3 years of relevant experience OR
In absence of a degree, 7 years of relevant experience is required
Must be a U.S. Citizen
Knowledge in electrical engineering, electrical design concepts or related.
Knowledge on Printed Circuit Design (PCD) or related
Experience with PCD tools such as Mento Graphics, Zuken, or related.
Previous experience working in the aerospace industry
B.S. or Advanced degree in electrical engineering
