This position is for the Integration and Test (I&T) Engineer on a future program. The Program is a O&M Program and also performing development efforts via various Engineer Change Process. The Integration & Test Engineer will be part of a development team responsible for:
Execution of program Integration and Test activities, including but not limited to software and hardware installation and integration, requirement verification, regression testing as well as software and hardware deployment.
Participating in prime/customer meetings, including Integration & Test Strategy Meetings, Integration and Test Readiness as well as Pre-ship Reviews.
Developing and maintaining relationships and partnerships with the prime, customer, RTX and peers.
Fulfilling Raytheon Technologies SEIT functional responsibilities including mandatory training and achieving organizational as well as personal career goals.
Clearance Requirement: Must be a US Citizen with a current TS/SCI clearance
Required Skills:
4+ years of engineering experience
Experience installing and integrating software (COTS and custom) on Linux/Unix platforms
Trouble-shooting skills for systems comprised of software and hardware
Experience performing regression test activities and Discrepancy Report (DR) verification
Experience with formal requirement verification activities including test procedure development and execution of factory acceptance testing
Ability to establish and maintain good working relationship with all levels of the organization and with prime and customer
Demonstrated written and oral communication skills, including presentation skills
Experience with the Microsoft Office suite (e.g., PowerPoint, Excel, Word)
Current TS/SCI
Desired Skills:
Experience with Ground Systems development or Operations
Experience working with DOORS, and/or utilizing discrepancy report systems (e.g., ClearQuest)
Knowledge of Cyber Security requirements and implementation
Knowledge of Front-end Processors, High Speed Guard and Encryption devices
Ability to quickly come up to speed on new concepts and skills
Demonstrated self-starter; proactive in determining goals and objectives and pursuing the necessary course of action
Familiarity with organizations operating at or above CMMI Level 3
Qualified Raytheon Six Sigma Specialist or equivalent
Education Requirements: B.S./M.S./PhD in a STEM degree. Aerospace Engineering, Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, Physics, Math or other STEM degree.
