Raytheon Technologies Senior Pricing Strategist /Policy Analyst in Richardson, Texas
This is an exciting intermediate pricing position within a dynamic organization focused on creating winning cost proposals to help achieve Raytheon Technologies’ business goals. This includes proposal development for ongoing programs, ECP’s and competitive new business pursuits. The positions offers visibility to, and requires extensive contact with all proposal team members, subcontractors and Raytheon Senior Administration. The qualified candidate will:
Minimum 4 years of experience in finance or related field.
Plan, lead and perform pricing and cost proposal development in accordance with customer requirements and current government regulations, laws and company policies.
Provide Pricing support for all phases of the proposal process – proposal development thru negotiations and award.
Construct pricing models, write compelling cost volumes, meet scheduled and compliance requirements in order to submit persuasive and winning cost volumes.
When required, develop complex Excel cost models to support proposal efforts for customer submission, pricing strategy, should-cost exercises and pricing reviews with senior team members.
Demonstrate a thorough understanding of the current regulatory environment relative to the submission of proposals to the US Government (FAR, DFARS, TINA, CASB).
Can act as the Pricing Lead on competitive efforts without supervision.
Assess RFP Cost Volume requirements – translating them into a fully compliant cost proposal
Effectively work a proposal in accordance with the Estimating & Pricing process and applicable policies
Required Experience and Skills:
THIS POSITION REQUIRES U.S. CITIZENSHIP WITH THE ABILITY TO OBTAIN AN SSBI SECURITY CLEARANCE
The qualified candidate will have 4 or more years of experience in Estimating & Pricing, Finance or a related field.
Thorough understanding of government laws and regulations related to the development and negotiation of cost proposals is required (FAR, DFARS, CAS, TINA).
Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent MS Excel and Word skills.
Must be able to work both self-guided and in a enthusiastic team environment
Excellent time management skills to ensure schedules and deadlines are met
Experience guiding or supporting competitive new business, follow-on business and engineering change proposals for the government or government prime contractors.
Experience with multiple contract types (CPFF, CPIF, CPAF, FFP, FPIF and T&M.
Ability to interface with senior administration .
Advanced level experience using Microsoft Excel (functions and formula creation) and Word
Advanced level experience with proposal pricing software tools
Customer inspired cost model development using MS Excel
Commercial or RTN proposal software experience are desired
Bachelor Degree, preferably in Finance, Accounting, Business or related major.
This position requires either a U.S. Person or a Non-U.S. Person who is eligible to obtain any required Export Authorization.
