Job Description:

As an integral member of the international DT team, the Riyadh Middle east and North Africa (MENA) Digital Technology Transition Manager is the enterprise solutions architect ideally who understands the business requirements, vision, mission and map them to the technical low level requirements, manage solutions architects towards achieving the business goals and objectives, govern the environment and make a transformation between an existing digital technology setup to an ideal harmonized and centralized setup serving middle east Raytheon landed companies. This role currently reports to the CIO, Saudi Arabia.

Raytheon in the Arabian Gulf region have mission to consolidate its branches under a MENA model where connectivity, compute, network, security and cloud services are centralized serving the region users, and integrate with Raytheon USA private cloud for data governance, availability, compliance, and security. The candidate is expected with hands on experience, deep dive at least in one of the domains (compute, cloud, network) where he/she will manage a group of solution architects as his/her peers assigned towards business mission and ensures the design, implementation, support are all in line with the company operating policies and procedures. Candidate is expected to work with the internal\external teams to make sure the business objectives are met and to govern the existing and a smooth transition to new environments in terms of people, process, and technology. The candidate is expected to have proven experience and referenced records of data center infrastructure integrations and migrations, onboarding and cloud adoptions, active directory and federation services, OAUTH, SAML, etc.. For integration of authentication repositories, and SSO to provided services. The candidate is expected to understand data, classify and label it, categorize and put a data flow design for control and governance, ensure confidentiality, integrity, and availability of company data as the most important asset.

The candidate must work with minimal supervision and will be held accountable for ensuring compliance to Raytheon policies while moving the business forward while balancing program and functional needs. The candidate will have to exercise high emotional intelligence to work across multiple functions staffed by local staff of varying nationalities and therefore must possess a positive, can-do attitude in times of ambiguity and stress.

Required Skills:

  • 10+ years of experience within the information technology industry in which 5 years in managerial responsibilities.

  • Work experience in multiple IT disciplines including demonstrated expertise in one or more IT infrastructure disciplines (networking, servers, cloud, security)

  • Mastery of solution architecting TOGAF framework.

  • Experience in change management and regulatory compliance requirements

  • Experience with managing a business from an IT perspective, handle and support all IT activities (e.g. datacenter operations, server administration, IT security, networks, applications, ERP, service management and integration, email, information assurance, DR, telecommunications) while actively engaging, as part of the Leadership Team, in business activities (e.g. purchasing, budgeting, new business capture, financial management)

  • Ability to interact with multiple levels of employees effectively – (e.g. customer, Raytheon, teammates, and suppliers).

    Desired Skills:

  • Knowledge, design, and presentation skills to participate in Enterprise level architecture and operations teams to deploy IT services affecting Middle East countries.

  • Project management experience

  • Understanding of strategic-level tasks/project life cycles and project management concepts

  • Master’s degree in an computer engineering, STEM, or other computing technical field

  • Must have experience working independently to achieve results in key technical areas

  • Strong ability to achieve results in matrix environment and energize teams to deliver

    Educational Requirements:

    Bachelor's degree in IT, software/computer engineering, computer science, and any other related discipline.
