We are looking for an Electronics Technician Supervisor to support Electric Power Systems.
This position provides supervision to repair, adjust, troubleshoot, and maintain complex production equipment, machinery, or instrumentation to ensure reliable functionality and compliance with process and safety specifications. This position works with internal customers, trades, and shared services to provide technical staff support for production and development equipment and projects. Provides daily priority, direction and employee support
Hires and trains department staff
Organizes and oversees the schedules and work of staff
Conducts performance evaluations that are timely and constructive
Organize trainings and workshops for maintenance and test support personnel
Collaborate with business units and review all business requirements and recommend appropriate solutions for overall equipment management
Optimize utilization of all associate tools and provide subject matter expertise
Wide knowledge of and experience with industrial equipment for manufacturing
Desire to learn aerospace industry and products
Ability to think critically and provide efficient leadership for repairs of production and development test lab work
Under minimal management, perform substantial varied and complex tasks
Adapts new procedures, techniques, tools, materials and/or equipment to meet the complex requirements of our customers
Provide safety leadership and direction on safe work practices for staff
Provides advanced support and complex problem solving for engineering teams
Perform other duties and responsibilities as required
Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of prior relevant experience OR
In absence of a degree, 9 years of relevant experience is required
Advanced electronics and technical systems troubleshooting and support experience
Engineering/Other Technical Positions: Bachelor’s degree (typically in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM)) and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience unless prohibited by local laws/regulations.
US Citizen is required.
Strong understanding and familiarity with the National Electric Code (NEC) and NFPA 70E is preferred
Minimum of 3 years of supervision or leadership experience is preferred
5 years of related technical equipment experience is preferred
