Position overview Electric Power Systems is currently seeking a highly motivated project engineering intern. The role involves working with Program Chief Engineers and System Integrated Project Team (SIPT) leads to help ensure new development programs are well planned and executed.
Working with engineering leads to ensure system level requirements, system definition, development, testing and initial production are all met
Investigate field performance issues and drive RCCA to closure
Help develop and execute plans necessary to meet key programmatic and customer milestones (hardware deliveries, qualification activities, customer lab/flight test A/C support activities).
Efforts will include work scope management, action item closure, schedule maintenance, Risk, Standard Work management.
Help monitor key metrics (budget, quality, schedule) and implement appropriate corrective actions to address negative trends.
Maintain a high level of customer and quality focus
Help identify risks and implement appropriate mitigation plans
Effectively communicate written and oral status reports to the program
Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and student must be pursuing a Bachelor's or advanced degree in an applicable discipline.
Must be a U.S. Person/Permanent Resident “Green Card” holder
