The Power & Controls SAP Business Analyst will be part of the P&C SAP support team organization at Collins Aerospace Systems. The position will be focused on maintaining system support, evaluating business processes and SAP best practices, recommending solutions as well as project execution / alignments. This role requires SAP knowledge of Finance (FI), Controls (CO), Reporting and Compliance, Security and GTS (Global Trade Services).
Create enhancement requests for the business; tasks include: requirements gathering, design, test, and creation of training material
Identify and work system operation improvements
Work with cross-functional groups to complete large production enhancement projects
Support SAP ECC and dependent system upgrades
Field complex configuration management related questions from the business including the analysis of interface documents issues and master data
Support break/fix tickets and questions from the business in the following areas: Finance, Controls, Reporting, Compliance, Security, GTS. Work with the digital technology team
Working knowledge of SAP GUI scripting
Winshuttle experience in execution
Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of prior relevant experience OR
Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years experience OR
In absence of a degree, 9 years of relevant experience is required
MBA a plus
3 years’ experience in SAP
Configuration experience in the following areas
3 years’ experience in SAP support
Knowledge of financial systems and reports, compliance, security, GTS.
Aerospace and Defense experience
Ability to work on call schedules including weekends if necessary
Some travel required 20-30% of the time to support customers and priorities during non-pandemic period
