Electric Power Systems is looking for a dynamic and energetic Integrated Product Team (IPT) Leader to work with a multi-disciplined technical team in the design, development, production, and field support of aircraft Power Distribution System products. The preferred candidate must have a track record of leading teams, project management, design experience, and strong analytical problem-solving skills.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for managing the technical performance of a program team (5 - 20 team members)

  • Teams may consist of one or more of electrical, systems, software, electronics packaging, and/or technical writing disciplines

  • Teams may be a mix of onsite, offsite local, and offshore resources

  • Teams include full time staff and additional contractors as necessary

  • Manage the project including tracking & reporting on budget and schedule performance through Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS) techniques.

  • Support and motivate team to deliver customer milestones and deliverables to meet program business plan

  • Interfacing with management, suppliers, customers, and members of the technical design team

  • Provide timely and effective communication to management and customers

  • Lead engineering investigations to establish root cause, and implement appropriate corrective actions

  • Lead by example the use of ACE/6 Sigma tools (or similar) to drive standard work and continuous improvement through the life of the project

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of relevant experience OR

  • Advance degree and 3 years of relevant experience OR

  • In absence of a degree, 9 years of relevant experience is required

  • Must be a U.S. Person/Permanent Resident “Green Card” holder

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Software, or Aerospace Engineering or a similar discipline

  • Experience with Systems and Software development and verification processes

  • Progression in design, test, and fabrication of electrical systems which include hardware and software components

  • Experience with technologies related to specifically power distribution systems

  • Experience with Microsoft Project, Word/Excel/ PowerPoint

  • History of continuous improvement and relentless root cause methodology

  • Knowledge in environmental, reliability, and safety requirements
