This position for an experienced Field Service professional. Improves direct communications with customers and field team members. Analyzes and interprets test information to resolve moderate design/system related problems. Develops specialized product knowledge and may perform diagnostic procedures. May contact and meet customers on a daily basis.

Responsibilities:

  • Performs on-site services for new and existing clients, which may include equipment servicing and equipment upgrades.

  • Conducts technical analysis of product implementations, modifications and enhancements to products in accordance with specific customer specifications.

  • Communicates technical information to technical and non-technical stakeholders and meets customers daily or as required to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.

  • Keeps customer informed on the nature of service provided or outstanding issues and recommends system enhancements, upgrades, or repairs.

  • Performs a variety of duties, including but not limited to installing, servicing, operating, maintaining, repairing and removing equipment.

  • Conducts technical analysis of product implementations, modifications and enhancements to products in accordance with specific customer specifications.

  • Manages technical products, services, logistics and provisioning, quantity surveying, and configurations to assigned customers.

  • Troubleshoots technical problems and issues and recommends actions to company or customer representatives.

  • Assesses product needs in accordance with customer specifications.

  • Acts as local on-site representative to the customer's organization.

  • Manages statement of work to meet customer and contract requirements.

Basic Qualifications:

  • AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training) with a minimum of 8 years relevant experience.

  • OR In the absence of a HS diploma, GED or AA/AS degree, 10 years of relevant experience is required

  • OR A Bachelor’s degree in the appropriate discipline and 2 years of relevant experience

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen

  • Relevant experience with commercial simulation in the aerospace industry is a must.

  • Understanding the role as being mainly installations and integrations. Running in cables, connection and power up, with projector/visual system test acceptance.

  • The ideal candidate will be comfortable with 80% travel, experienced with mechanical assembly as well as network communications and control software.

  • Network skills, ethernet networks and TCPIP configuration setup

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Preferred not required for candidates to sit near any major airport, examples being: DFW (Dallas, TX), MCO (Orlando, FL) or SLC (Salt Lake City, UT).

  • Windows PC Skills

  • Read and execute to engineering drawings and wiring diagrams

  • Status reporting and customer etiquette

  • Proficiency in English.
