As a Lab Services Technician you will be an integral part of technical service organization that supports program development in our Salt Lake City, Utah location . You will utilize your experience in lab environments to provide imaginative, thorough, practicable and organizationally aligned solutions to a wide range of difficult lab space challenges.
Minimum of 4 years of experience in technical lab environments
Experience/exposure to the following lab service capabilities
Lab project environment planning, setup, and maintenance
Lab space management (procurement, arbitration, and decommission)
Equipment management (procurement, rental, allocation, maintenance, disposal)
Lab environment compliance and accreditation
Calibration compliance (standards, monitoring, notifications, calibration, training)
ESD compliance (planning, markings, tools, infrastructure, supplies, verification, training)
Lab safety management
Lab environment training (environment, equipment, practices, infrastructure)
Lab supply management (tools, server racks, power distribution units, cables, connectors, attenuators, splitters, cleaners, etc.)
Lab infrastructure management (planning, thermal, power, lighting, security, benches, cable management, etc.)
SW asset management (coordination of lab computer and equipment software updates)
Daily lab support (service request support, service group coordination, issue resolution)
Coordination of capital and GFE equipment movement in lab environments
Clear written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in team environments
U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position will require a TS/SCI security clearance within 1 year of start date
Experience with network and/or wireless integration and test environments and associated test equipment
Active TS/SCI clearance within the last 2 years
2 year technical degree, military experience, or equivalent
This position requires either a U.S. Person or a Non-U.S. Person who is eligible to obtain any required Export Authorization.185914
