As a Software Test Engineer, you will be an integral part of a team that makes decisions and generates ideas that will push products above and beyond. You will guide and oversee the design, build, test and delivery of advanced high-capacity systems that process modern communications.
We are currently seeking Software Integration and Test Engineers with experience in system development to support multiple programs. As a Software Test Engineer, the applicant will be responsible for the creation, evaluation, and execution of test plans and strategies, analysis and documentation of test results, and preparation of test reports. They will work in collaboration with other Test Engineers, as well as the Software Engineering, Systems Engineering, and Mission Engineering teams to identify and solve complex problems.
Minimum of 6 years of software test experience
Experience integrating software, hardware, and/or firmware components into an overall system
Experience with Integration and Test of complex systems in a Linux environment
Experience preparing and presenting reports and briefings to senior management and Customers
Experience with software test automation and test script development on Linux based systems
Experience with preparing and conducting test procedures
Experience working with Integrated Product Teams
Experience with debugging systems
Existing Top Secret/SCI clearance (or Active within the last 24 months)
U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position needs an active U.S. Security Clearance as of day one of employment.
Experience with version control systems, such as git
Experience with scripting languages, such as Python
Experience with C/C+
- Experience with process improvement
Experience and/or knowledge of network protocols, such as TCP/IP
Experience with or basic understanding of telecommunications systems concepts and/or signal processing
Experience with system-level integration and testing, specifically, the integration of advanced, custom processing systems, testbeds, and software
Experience using Windows
Existing TS/SCI clearance with FSP (Active within the last 24 months)
Required Education: Bachelors of Science (BS) Degree: Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or related fields.
Desired Education: Masters of Science (MS) Degree: Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or related fields.
