This position will provide financial leadership, guidance, analysis and decision making support to the Civil Space & Sea Systems business. This high visibility role engages with various leaders within the organization, providing analysis, forecasting, and budgeting support.
Provide guidance to the organization on financial areas of focus and initiatives to meet the company’s financial commitments
Perform monthly P&L, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow closing and forecast activities for the San Dimas Site
Perform variance analyses of key business drivers for performance vs. plan, forecast and prior year
Prepare presentations to management highlighting key drivers of financial performance
Support the OMM budgeting process including the 5 year plan submission to ISR/Mission Systems
Complete monthly and quarterly deliverables necessary to support senior management financial reviews
Participate in special projects including process improvements aimed at improving efficiency and creating better alignment between the San Dimas site.
Bachelor’s degree and 7 years of relevant experience OR
Advance degree and 5 years of relevant experience OR
In absence of a degree, 11 years of relevant experience is required
Prior program experience, including an understanding of FAR
Comfortable working with a diverse cross-functional team environment
Strong interpersonal skills – teamwork, leadership skills, demonstrated ability to deliver results
Solid analytical, communication, organization, coaching.
Relevant experience in Finance, Accounting, and Contract Financial Management
A working understanding of Government Contracts and negotiations are a plus
SAP, Hyperion Financial Management, Hyperion Planning, Advanced applications of Microsoft Office
