Support the development of technical solutions aimed to improve the efficiency of the PR aerospace manufacturing operation. Help progress the development of industry 4.0 initiatives such as interconnected machines, sensor systems, and big data into the landscape of decisions support systems.
Determines operational feasibility by evaluating analysis, problem definition, requirements, solution development, and proposed solutions.
Support the research process of code and solutions available in the market to help identify the most efficient path forward to support the operation’s needs in regard to software customization and in-house full developments.
Prepares and installs solutions by determining and designing system specifications, standards, and programming.
Write well-designed, testable code adhering to defined standards and patterns.
Develops software solutions by studying information needs; conferring with users; studying systems flow, data usage, and work processes; investigating problem areas; following the software development lifecycle.
Execute full software development life cycle (SDLC).
Integrate software components into a fully functional software system.
Develop software verification plans and quality assurance procedures.
Document and maintain software functionality.
Computer Science/ Engineers and Industrial Engineers welcome to apply.
Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and student must be pursuing a Bachelor's or advanced degree in an applicable discipline.
