Develops and manages operating systems (e.g., ACE) to assist internal staff, suppliers, customers, and partners with initiatives to re-engineer processes and methods that adequately ensure quality of an organization's products. Oversees internal ACE/lean training and coaching and facilitates ACE events. Ensures and enables ACE site & Cell certifications. Recommends process and procedural changes to ensure that company objectives in the areas of quality, cost, and efficiency are met.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Develop and lead implementation of strategies supporting the Site Lean Operating Systems; attainment of ACE Silver and ACE Gold goals.

  • Manage improvements projects/organization transformation key milestones. Lead events such as VSM, 3P and Kaizen workshops.

  • Lead Cell transformation plans.

  • Develop and deploy ACE assessment plans (includes assessment package reviews and coordination of ACE certification assessments).

  • Interface with ACE Client Manager and Business Unit ACE Office.

  • Exercise leadership through training coordination, coaching and communication of best practices.

  • Support standard work development efforts.

  • Provide training on key ACE/Lean elements and tools to all levels of the organization.

  • Prepare reports related to events or certifications progress, and any other report required by local organization or Business Unit ACE Office.

  • Empower and mentor others to succeed throughout all levels of the organization.

    Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of prior relevant experience OR

  • Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years’ experience OR

  • In absence of a degree, 9 years of relevant experience is required

  • Engineering/Other Technical Positions: Bachelor’s degree (typically in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM)) and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience unless prohibited by local laws/regulations.

  • Candidate must be a U.S Citizen.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering w/4-7+ years of related experience

  • Leadership experience in a continuous improvement/lean environment, cell transformation with proven track record in planning and participating/leading lean events.

  • Oriented and experienced in a team environment.

  • Project Management certification preferred.

  • Six Sigma Green belt or equivalent certification preferred.

  • Lean Manufacturing Certification or equivalent certification preferred.

  • Computer software knowledge in MS Project, Excel, AutoCAD.

  • Ability to multitask and meet critical deadlines.

  • Strong communication skills (written, verbal, public speaking).

  • Fully bilingual (English & Spanish).

  • Willing to travel as needed.
