The Algorithm & Simulation (A&S) Directorate is responsible for algorithm development including radiofrequency (RF) and electro-optical/infrared (EO-IR) Signal Processing; Guidance, Navigation, and Control; and missile-and-sensor-level Modeling and Simulation for RMD's broad portfolio of projects, programs and products. The MSA teams within the A&S Directorate provide, develop, and maintain high fidelity performance simulations (including multiple sensor channels, scene generation capability, control hardware, physical environment, and embedded software), execute system performance analysis (including pre-flight prediction, post flight matching, and verification and validation), support new business initiatives and develop & execute technology roadmaps. Navy, undersea Navy, missile defense sensors, interceptors, command and control, integrated air and missile defense systems and space surveillance systems.
Qualification You Must Have:
Bachelors’ Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or Physics
Must have five (5) years or more of documented work and/or academic experience in the following areas:
Experience with Agile software development processes and tools (to include JIRA and Gitlab)
Experience with distributed computing systems and/or real-time computing/messaging systems.
Experience using Windows, UNIX, and/or Linux operating systems.
Experience with System / Software Integration and Test activities.
Qualifications We Value:
Missile defense domain experience
Experience with Software Baseline Control Management processes/procedures.
Experience with MatLab, ClearQuest, ClearCase, Oracle, MySQL, and SharePoint, or related applications.
Experience with software CM processes and experience in a development environment
Experience in complex system assessment/analysis
Experience in system architectures, networks, and operations.
Experience in engineering M&S systems using an optimistic discrete event simulation platform
Experience with risk management, issue resolution, problem solving and customer service.
Note: This position can be a Senior Software Engineer or Principal Software Engineer based on the candidate's qualifications as they relate to the skills, experience and responsibility requirements for the position.
This position requires the eligibility to obtain a security clearance. Except in rare circumstances, only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
In compliance with Colorado’s Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the salary range for this role is $86,500 to
$160,000; however, Raytheon Technologies considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, education/training, and key skills.
