Woven Electronics, LLC., a part of Collins Aerospace, is seeking to add a Sr. Contracts Associate to our Thermal & Electronics Contracts Team. Our team focuses on doing the best for the customer – we define success as exceeding our customers’ expectations.
The Contracts Associate will serve as liaison between the external customer and internal teams including business development, program management, customer service, supply chain, engineering, quality, and production. This position is required to display a sense of leadership to each issue/task, effective listening, detailed communication and the desire to resolve each issue with the highest level of service possible.
Following general instructions, with some discretion as to work details, administers and coordinates assigned activities involved in accepting, monitoring and performing contracts and subcontracts between company and customers.
Prepares proposals and gathers a variety of pre-contract information for analysis prior to contract award.
Negotiates Non-Disclosure Agreements, Terms and Conditions, and Long Term Agreements
Analyzes contract documents to determine contractual obligations, preparing recommendations regarding acceptance of modifications and terms and conditions.
Monitors company performance on contractual obligations. Oversees the review of incoming contracts and modifications for conformance to original proposals.
Gathers information and prepares reports on contract compliance status, identifying deviations and recommending action.
Manages and maintains customer portals for submitting quotes, purchase orders and quality notifications as well as annual and proposal-related customer certifications
Operates in accordance with company policies and practices, and in compliance with accepted business ethics.
Requires theoretical to advanced knowledge of work area typically obtained through University Degree combined with experience. Practical knowledge of RTX projects, programs or systems with the ability to make enhancements and leverage in daily work. Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience. Engineering/Other Technical Positions: Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience unless prohibited by local laws/regulations.
