Responsible to drive Continuous Improvement (CI) initiatives for Aerospace Manufacturing Plant using Lean and Achieving Competitive Excellence (ACE) Operating SystemCollins Aerospace, a Raytheon Technologies company, is a leader in technologically advanced and intelligent solutions for the global aerospace and defense industry. 1.Drive culture of continuous improvement through implementation of Lean/ACE to achieve progressive Collins Aerospace CI objectives.
Organize and facilitate Lean/ACE events, track process and support regular reporting cadence on ACE activities progress and status.
Organize and facilitate ACE training and Lean Boot Camp. Provide training and communication on ACE tools and methodology to stakeholders in alignment with Site business vision and strategy.
Coordinate and track ACE Implementation Matrix (AIM) progress of Site progression to Gold Certification per AIM Criteria.
Support regular reporting cadence on ACE activities progress and status.
Promote culture change by sharing best practices, introducing, driving and sustaining Lean/ACE concepts and methodology within the company
Customer focus, Forward Thinking, Analytical Skill, Good commutator (both spoken & written) & Team player
Degree in Industrial Engineering, Industrial & System Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or related field.
2 to 3 years of continuous improvement working experience in a large manufacturing shop floor environment preferred. Practical experience in setting up shop floor visual management.
2 to 3 years’ experience in continuous improvement project management.
Preferred Skill (some tools list here are Collins specific):
Lean Methodology -Time Study, Manufacturing Standard Work (SWCS, SWS & percent load), VSM (Value Stream mapping), Visual management (RTPR), Lean logistics (SWIP, kanban management), Problem Solving tool (QCPC, RRCA, CPS).
Process Improvement : Variation reduction, SPC, PFMEA, QCPC, SIPOC, RACI, MFA.
Microsoft PowerPoint & Excel. Good analytics, communication and presentation skills.
Policy Deployment - Hoshi Kanri.
Self-starter and ability to work with all levels of staff.
Dynamic, highly driven and able to adapt to a fast pace business environment.
