Main duties & responsibilities:

  • Subject matter expert (Robotic programming) to meet product quality and customers’ delivery expectation

  • Convert manual process into robotic application using existing in-house robots

  • Responsible for tooling, fixture, process development for technology conversion

  • Provide solutions thru robotic application to achieve financial/business targets,

  • Derive deburring improvement methods to increase operational efficiencies, reduce cycle-time & product cost.

  • Provide necessary training or instructional dissemination to technicians receiving Robotic programs & tools. Drive and accelerate Lean Transformation thru multi-tasking activities at IDG/VFG and/or Gear Cell having Robotic deburring application, not limiting to,

  • Cell Analysis and Future State

  • Continuous Improvement or Cost-out Presentation

  • Shop Floor Management

Apart from main duties, trainee will be assigned continuous improvement projects:

  • Minimum lead 1 Lean Leadership Week project.

  • Completion of a list of part numbers requiring robotic programming, tool/fixture design & their corresponding process prove-out.

This position is open for both recent graduates and mid-career individuals (mature and non-mature). Graduates interested in this position should possess a Degree in Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineering. Mid-career individuals from any qualification level can apply.
