Main duties & responsibilities:
Evaluate parts for producibility and complete the bidding process
Review part configuration and requirement to identify gaps to site capability and material of concern.
Build manufacturing process straw man to estimate production cost and develop sketches for out-sourced operation quotation.
Work with Material, Procurement and Finance to complete RFQ bid sheet.
Support internal business unit(BU) gated review process to build the business case
Work with BU to assess project risk and identify mitigation plan
Coordinate with Ops to define engineering testing and quality plan requirement
Assess operation capacity and develop high level project schedule.
Project management in executing a winning bid
Plan detail project schedule for first article order.
Plan and manage resources to execute project
Plan and manage project budget
Periodic report out to stake holder project status – progress, risk and mitigation actions.
Apart from main duties, trainee will be assigned continuous improvement projects:
Identify and automate steps in the RFQ process Identify gaps in the NPI process and revise NPI standard work.
This position is open for both recent graduates and mid-career individuals (mature and non-mature). Graduates interested in this position should possess a Degree in Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineering. Mid-career individuals from any qualification level can apply.
