Pratt & Whitney PSD is an overhaul & repair business that specializes in engine cases in support of the aftermarket network. PSD is seeking a Site Transformation Manager. You will work directly for the Site GM with strong connection to HQ teams and other shops through the AMO Technology Council. This is a key leadership role directly influencing the long-term growth and financial health of the business, efficiency of our operations, and critical business processes.
Leverage industry best practices, benchmark innovation leaders, identify critical matrix data management tools/processes, and curate frontier technologies including automation solutions to drive profitable growth across the organization
Champion change communications to assist with critical elements of the organizational vision, mission, and business performance to support a transformational culture and positive work environment
Encourage technological innovation and process improvement initiatives to enhance quality, cost reduction and customer satisfaction
Deep operational experience and understanding of relevant/latest/greatest technologies to be effective
Familiarity/background with the shop and general operations/engineering/digital technology
Lead all CORE (continuous improvement) deployment - utilize CORE tools to improve production, performance, and reduce scrap, rework, and repair
Work with all levels of management, personnel, and customers, and have key skills in project management, and general business and operational analytics
Strong blend of tactical and strategic management skills with ability to influence stakeholders
Excellent communication skills and the ability to interface effectively with all levels of the organization
Solid organizational skills with the ability to synthesize and report out both verbally and in writing
Ability to influence to build strong relationships across multiple layers in the organization
Provides tactical and/or operational leadership and coaching
BA/BS Degree in Engineering, Operations, Management, or a related field with 6+ years of relevant experience OR
Advance degree with 4+ years of relevant experience
US Citizenship required due to government contracts
Demonstrated success in operations management, program management, engineering, communications, customer support functions, and supply chain management, preferably in the aviation industry
You have strong leadership skills, critical thinking skills, business discernment, and ability to innovate
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite of applications
Technical knowledge of PW Engines Repair, PW Repair Centers, and PW Engine Services business is helpful
Strong written/verbal communication skills and demonstrated industry insight
ACE/CORE Accreditation and or LEAN Six Sigma Black Belt
Master of Business Administration (MBA)
