Our Electrical Product Team has an opportunity for an Electrical Engineer who is seeking to utilize their strong academic background and experience in antenna system theory and design, including architectures and RF/Microwave components, subsystems and Antennas. The successful candidate will commit their working knowledge of electromagnetic theory and radar systems, and their analytical skills in electronics, antenna, and microwave systems. The successful candidate will also be hands on with the antenna hardware. Responsibilities will include building, repairing, Engineering prototyping, field service, test, debugging of fielded communications equipment, hands-on testing of microwave components and antennas along with assembly, integration and test. Supporting team leadership skills included technical writing, manpower and schedule management experience are desired.
Please note this position can be an Electrical Engineer II or a Sr. Electrical Engineer I depending on the candidate’s skills and experience.
Qualifications You Must Have:
Bachelor’s in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM)
Minimum two (2) years antenna or radar analysis and hardware design and test
Minimum two (2) years integration and test experience of developed hardware
U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position will need a U.S. Security Clearance within 1 year of start date.
Qualifications We Value:
Experience with hardware build up, cable harnesses and soldering of electromechanical assemblies
Candidates should have a propensity for learning through self-study, and be comfortable in a multi-tasking environment.
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Strong academic background that includes courses in: Microwave Engineering, Electromagnetic Theory, Antenna Theory, and Radar Systems
Hands on experience with antenna testing techniques, including near field range, far field range or compact range testing
Strong measurement capability, including Vector Network Analyzers, and antenna measurements
Experience working with antennas in both analysis and hardware
Knowledge of industry standards for quality acceptance
Experience with ERP and MES systems
Existing Secret clearance or ability to obtain a secret clearance with interim clearance prior to start date
