This is a part time on-call position for Raytheon Technologies (0 -40 hours per week)

The ability to obtain and maintain a US security clearance prior to the start date U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance

Job Description:

Raytheon Technologies in State College, PA is seeking a part-time Security Officer for rotating shifts to maintain a safe and secure environment for employees and customers.

Responsibilities:

  • Operates a security control center by monitoring surveillance, access control, fire alarm and HVAC systems.

  • Patrols the facility to inspect access points and equipment.

  • Notifies appropriate personnel, company and noncompany, during events affecting the facility.

  • Makes detailed reports of incidents, violations, suspicious circumstances and unsatisfactory conditions.

  • Provides excellent customer service to employees and visitors.

  • Keeps current on information that may affect security operations by reading standard operating procedures, reports, security polices, memorandums and emails.

    Required Skills:

  • Current TS/SCI security clearance or the ability to obtain a TS/SCI clearance.

  • 1-2 years of Security, Military or Law Enforcement experience.

  • Must be able to work all shifts including nights, weekends and holidays.

  • Must be able to work automously with little supervision.

  • Must be able to sit and walk for long periods of time and withstand weather conditions.

  • Must be able to remain calm and exercise good judgment.

  • First Aid, CPR and AED knowledge.

  • Must be able to lift or move up to 30 pounds.

  • Performs other duties as assigned by management.

    Minimum Education Required: High School Diploma

This position requires either a U.S. Person or a Non-U.S. Person who is eligible to obtain any required Export Authorization.182065
