Raytheon Missiles & Defense (RMD) has an entry-level opportunity in its Advanced Sensors Microelectronics Program Area within the Advanced Technology organization for a Contracts Analyst or Sr. Analyst. The Advanced Technology area focuses on key pursuits as well as development efforts that serve as the growth engine and front end of the business, critical to the future growth of RMD. The successful applicant will support the development of proposals, as well as management and administration of contracts with the primary customer being the Department of Defense. Duties will include using his/her growing knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Defense supplement (DFARS) to respond to Requests for Proposals (RFPs), conduct contract negotiations and provide general contract administration. The selected applicant will interface with multiple customers on contracting matters and ensure that proposed and negotiated terms and conditions comply with company policies and guidelines as well as advise program management of contractual rights and obligations and means to mitigate contractual/program risks. Minimal travel may be required.
The position will be well suited for a highly motivated, well organized individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced, team environment. Your responsibilities will include developing creative approaches to solving problems while employing sound change management and communication skills.
This position can be filled as a Contracts Analyst, or Sr Contracts Analyst, based on the candidate's qualifications as they relate to the skills, experience and responsibility requirements for the position.
Contracts Analyst requires a Bachelor degree and 0-2 years of direct experience
Sr Analyst, Contracts requires a Bachelor degree is required and 2 years of direct experience (or master’s degree plus 0 experience)
Location: Tewksbury, MA – Temporarily telecommute; post COVID restrictions it will be hybrid (partial on-site and partial remote)
Qualifications You Must Have :
0-2 yrs of experience in Contracts, Business, Legal, or related field.
BS/BA in Business or Business Management, or any major related to this job description including but not limited to Computer Science, Accounting, Finance, Law, Economics, International Relations/Political Science, Supply Chain Management or other closely related field.
The ability to obtain and maintain a US security clearance
U.S. citizenship is required
