Whole Life Engineering (WLE) is responsible for ensuring our products are Safe, Reliable, Maintainable and delivered on time. WLE consists of multiple disciplines that support engineering, our program offices and our customers. Our WLE disciplines participate in the total life cycle of our products from conception to deactivation. Our focus area is product support, including the following disciplines: Reliability System Safety and Supportability.
Whole Life Engineering Land Warfare & Air Defense (LWAD) department, has an opening for an Integrated Product Team (IPT) Lead supporting Patriot Missile Support Center Program. In this role, you’ll lead a multi-disciplinary team of engineers responsible for designing, creating, testing and delivering missile products to our customer while achieving cost, schedule and technical performance requirements.

Responsibilities to Anticipate:
Managing execution of all technical program scope.
Responsible for complex coordination across multiple Raytheon Missile & Defense (RMD) and Raytheon Information Services (RIS) engineering areas, including Test Design, Software Engineering and Whole Life Engineering.
Interfacing with LW&AD Patriot Missile Product Line Team.
Preparing briefings as well as presenting and leading technical meetings for internal and external stakeholders / customers.
This role requires travel to Customer facilities in CONUS 10-15% to support program execution and customer meetings, with minimal need for international travel.
An advanced degree can be substituted for additional years of experience as follows: Master’s is equal to 2 years of experience or a Ph.D. is equal to 4 years of experience.
Qualifications You Must Have:
Education: BS in a STEM discipline or a BA in Mathematics, Computer Science, Chemistry or Physics
- 8+ years of Integrated Product Team / Cross Product Team, Engineering, Project or Program Management experience
Leadership experience in an engineering or other technical environment
The ability to obtain and maintain a US security clearance. US citizenship is required as only US citizens are eligible for a security clearance
Qualifications We Value:
Demonstrated knowledge and experience with IPDS, EVMS, IMS and Risk & Opportunity Management
Experience working on Missile Sustainment or Production programs
Experience managing sub-contractor teams
Experience presenting Estimate at Completions (EAC) and coordinating proposals
Experience developing and delivering technical presentations to large audiences (30+) including U.S. and Foreign Military customers
Six Sigma Specialist; EVMS certified
Experience leading diverse cross-functional teams
Experience managing multiple technical projects and customer requests in a fast paced environment
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment
Experience with Microsoft family of Office applications
