Raytheon Technologies Product Execution Lead in Tewksbury, Massachusetts
Raytheon Missiles and Defense is seeking a highly motivated Product Execution Manager to serve as part of the Product Line Execution (PLE) staff for the Patriot Radar Product Line. In this role, this individual will work as part of a team responsible for the day-to-day execution and oversight for all of the Radar build scope (CONUS and OCONUS) in accordance with contract requirements and within the planned budget and schedule. The Patriot Radar PLE staff is responsible for overseeing the on-time delivery and on-schedule performance for the various programs. This position will have responsibility for oversight and monitoring of the IPT’s scope to ensure build performance within the technical, cost, schedule, and quality requirements. Additionally, will help manage the product configurations and help develop strategies to improve production efficiency, reduce cost, and drive down cycle time. Responsibility will encompass all aspects of execution, to include refurbishment, upgrade, integration and test for multiple products within the Product Line.
The Product Execution Manager will interface across all aspects of the program’s scope (development, production, change management, and delivery schedules) to influence and ensure a timely transition to production. This individual will report to the Patriot Radar Product Line Execution Lead, collaborate across all CBT partners, and work production floor related technical issues (build and supplier related issues). This position will work closely with the Sub-IPTs, Operations, Integrated Supply Chain, Quality, Engineering, Product Line Execution Lead, and IPT Leadership removing obstacles to delivering radar hardware.
As a Manager within the Radar Product Line, this candidate will also support New and Sustaining Business activities to include proposals, AR’s, and strategic planning; with a focus on Product Line optimization, affordability, and continuous production.
Basic Qualifications:
Minimum of 10 years’ experience; preferably in management and product execution of large complex programs
Demonstrated knowledge of IPDS
Demonstrated experience with transition from development to production, continuous production, and sale or delivery of product
Experience with Risk & Opportunity management
Ability to obtain a DoD Security Secret clearance
Required Education:
- Bachelor’s degree; preferably in Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics or Business degrees. Advanced degree preferred
Desired Qualifications:
Experience with Patriot Product Line (PPL) Team and/or Radar product line
Demonstrated experience in program planning, budgeting, and tracking to cost and schedule
Ability to build and work with diverse cross-functional teams
EVMS Certification
PMX Certification Level 5, or ability to obtain within a year
Demonstrated experience to effectively work with senior levels within U.S. customers, foreign customers, and Raytheon Technologies’ leadership
Understanding of various contract types including Domestic, DCS, FMS, Cost-Plus, FFP, FPIF, and how to execute within a mixed Product Line
Strategic planning and cross program alignment
New supplier start up experiences
Ability to develop proposals and additional work scope
Ability to travel domestic and international
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills both written and oral
