Job Summary:

Our team in Tewksbury MA, is seeking a Security Systems Technician/Specialist. Capped relocation support is available, see below for further details regarding what we offer.

The Security Systems Tech/Specialist develops, designs, and administers technical security systems and procedures towards improving products and systems while enhancing performance and efficiencies. You will provide technical guidance for Raytheon Missile and Defense customer-sponsored security systems and networks and provide support for all unclassified, proprietary, and government classified security system requirements.

Responsibilities to Anticipate:

  • Provides support for engineering network design and supervision for installations of security systems for Raytheon Missile and Defense buildings, government projects, secured areas and Security Control Centers.

  • You will manage both new and ongoing design, installation and maintenance of access control systems and all related electronic security systems.

  • Establish technical security policies in line with national standards as well as corporate guidelines.

  • Manages the UL certification program for security UL approved systems.

  • Assists in the investigation, of ethics violations and criminal matters by providing system reports on request.

    Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Systems, Management Information Technology, Criminal Justice, Business, Math, or other related field or additional 2 years of relevant Security experience may be substituted for each 1 year of college

  • An advanced degree in a related field may be substituted for 2 additional years of experience.

  • Five (5) years of industry related experience (13 years of industry related experience without degree).

  • An active and in-scope Secret US security clearance. With the ability to obtain a Top Secret clearance.

  • Experience with design, installation and/or maintenance of electronic security systems such as intrusion detection, access control, and/or video management systems.

  • Experience with the following: NISPOM, UL 2050, JFAN 6/9 and/or ICD 705 requirements.

  • Past work experience involving some aspect of computer networking, accessing operating systems, access control systems and/or functionality.

    Qualifications We Value:

  • An active in-scope Top Secret Clearance.

  • Strong Interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills, high ethical standards

  • General understanding of Software House C-cure 800/9000 product functionality

  • Experience with UL certification assessments

  • Experience with Physical Security and closed area construction requirements

  • Profession certifications i.e., Physical Security Professional (PSP), Physical Security Certification (PSC), Security Asset Protection Professional Certification (SAPPC)

  • Knowledge of security system networking and infrastructures

  • Understanding of Fixed Facility Checklist, self-inspections and/or DCSA Form 147

  • Experience with Project Management

  • Experience with threat and vulnerability assessments, risk analysis, integrated physical security systems and/or ongoing evaluations of security measures

  • Possess a state of Massachusetts low voltage class D electricians license or higher

  • Ability to work effectively and comfortably with internal and external customers at all levels
