Job Summary:

Raytheon Missiles & Defense is hiring for the role of Global Supply Chain Management (GSCM) Integrated Supplier Team (IST) Director. This position reports to the Executive Director of Integrated Supplier Teams, GSCM and has the overall responsibility of providing leadership and strategy for the execution of sub-contracts and developing business relationships between Raytheon Missiles & Defense (RMD) and key supplier partners.

Responsibilities to Anticipate:

  • Integrating all aspects of the supply chain function into the IST process and partnering with business area leaders, IPT leads, GSCM employees, and external business suppliers/partners.

  • Developing partnerships with the key suppliers that will enable flawless execution and improved performance.

  • Supporting all GSCM efforts; capture through program execution including the development of supplier management strategies.

  • Utilizing GSCM, and Program Management skills to lead the coordination, communication and integration of functions/ disciplines to support the achievement of prime contract technical, financial, and performance objectives.

  • Exercising strong business acumen to immediately connect technical concerns to ultimate contract performance and will proactively identify and resolve problems and customer concerns efficiently and effectively.

  • Communicates effectively and routinely on all supply chain issues, including subcontract performance to Vice Presidents, Program teams and Functional Leaders within RMD. Additionally communicates status of problem/issue resolution to all affected suppliers/partners while collaborating across functional organizations to develop solutions.

  • Supports the creation of and execution of Material Program Strategy to meet program costs, schedule and technical requirements, and commitments.

  • The Director is also responsible for derivation and prime contract flow down of technical requirements (e.g., specifications), tasks (e.g. SOW) and terms & conditions applicable to the contract or subcontract.

  • The IST Director continuously, monitors and evaluates GSCM metrics for trends and root causes and formulates proactive plans to ensure overall success of the programs supported.

    Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Bachelor Degree

  • 14+ years of relevant experience in business, finance, operations and / or supply chain

  • Experience in supply chain management, developing, managing performance of supplier base

  • Experience with program management principles such as development lifecycle, Statement of work generation (SOW), risk management, action item management, requirement change management, Earned Value planning/tracking/reporting, metrics management, and / or subcontract management

  • Experience with financial impact of decisions on the organization’s budget and the program to include managing cost, schedule and/or performance

  • Experience in preparing and / or evaluating proposals, estimates or contract requirements

  • Ability to travel up to 25% domestically

  • US Citizenship

    U.S. Citizenship is required as this position needs an active U.S. Security Clearance within one year of employment with the ability to obtain special access as needed.

  • Experience working within large industry or across multiple business units within Raytheon Technologies (RTX)

  • Proven ability to collaborate across the organization, cross functionally and operate effectively within a matrix environment

  • Strong project management skills and ability to convert business unit requirements into executable strategies; ability to develop and execute project plans

  • Demonstrated knowledge of AOP/EAC management and supply chain related metrics

  • Strong critical thinking skills, ability to exercise independent judgment and manage complexity and ambiguity

  • Skilled in communications, team building, conflict resolution, and relationship management to create an effective partnering environment that includes credibility, respect and trust

  • Experience with the Microsoft Office suite of tools, particularly Excel, Project, and PowerPoint

  • Ability to effectively work with and communicate with all levels of management and individual contributors within RTX, as well as with the customer

  • Excellent written and oral communication skill, including presentation skills

  • Demonstrated ability to understand technical details of efforts underway, to summarize key concerns and follow through with development of action plans to correct or satisfy problem areas

  • Solid understanding of other related business disciplines, and how they interact with GSCM, program management, engineering, quality, and operations.

    This position requires the eligibility to obtain a security clearance. Non-US citizens may not be eligible to obtain a security clearance.
