The successful candidate will possess excellent organizational, investigative and conflict management/resolution skills with demonstrated success in resolving both Employee Relations (ER) and Labor Relations (LR) matters when needed. Demonstrated ability to work independently to proactively identify interventions to improve Employee and Labor Relations in a way that promotes employee advocacy, creates an emotionally-safe work environment, and aligns HR and business strategies. Must be capable of working in a highly matrixed environment including but not limited to HRBP/Gs, DE&I, Organization Effectiveness, Learning, Legal, Ethics, Global Security Services, RTX ER business peers including Corporate ER Community of Expertise, and leaders/manager to ensure consistent application of HR policies and practices across the business. Additionally, the candidate must foster strong customer service orientation with key stakeholders, work collaboratively on teams and consult effectively and independently within and across all levels of the organization.
Responsibilities to Anticipate (Essential Functions):
Promote employee advocacy within the HR Community and organization leadership.
Investigate and resolve ER issues and complaints, to include, but not limited to, all types of discrimination, harassment, retaliation charges and export and import (EXIM) violations referred to ER; prepare all required documentation, and provide recommendations to employees and leaders.
Demonstrate objectivity, neutrality, and independence in all investigations, coaching, advising, etc.
Assist in and jointly investigate Labor Relations issues where and when needed.
Maintain confidentiality and sensitivity to all ER and LR issues.
Ensure that all employee matters are handled consistently and fairly across the organization.
Influence, coach, and advise HR Partners and leaders to take proactive performance management and/or organizational change actions to benefit the employees/company.
Provide employee relations consultation, coaching, training, and document review to the HR Community and leaders as needed/required.
Partner with legal counsel on external agency charges, lawsuit discovery, and litigation preparation.
Track, analyze, and report ER metrics to identify negative trends and issues for proactive resolution; identify positive trends and communicate appropriately.
In partnership with key stakeholders, present relevant and contemporaneous lessons-learned, case studies, etc., to enable and promote an emotionally-safe work environment.
Proactively identify interventions to improve Employee and Labor Relations in a way that aligns HR and business strategies.
Possess and maintain familiarity with federal and state employment laws and regulations.
Develop, implement and administer human resources policies and procedures to ensure compliance with employment law.
Provide counsel and guidance to managers and associates regarding company policies, procedures, and interpretations of federal and state employment laws and regulations.
Participate in and promote a team environment by working with own organization and other organizations in the accomplishment of team responsibilities and objectives.

Qualifications You Must Have:
5 years of Human Resource experience (or 3 years with an advanced degree) with related experience/knowledge in the areas of ER, Equal Employment Opportunity, and employment law specifically in conducting and resolving ER and/or LR issues.
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, Psychology, Business, Law or related field.
Experience with HRIS, and applicant tracking systems.
Ability to travel to RMD business locations when required
Qualifications We Value:
